Reebok Pump Omni Lite “MA-1″
Posted in Sneakers with tags Basketball, Crooked Tongues, Fresh Till Death, Hypebeast, Reebok Pump, Street Culture, Street Fashion, Streetwear on August 4, 2010 by LosThe prodigal son returns…
…and what better way to return than with a Reebok Pump post?
Those that have followed this site from the jump know I have a bit of an obsession with The Pump. But, where does this obsession stem from? In order to answer that question, I’ll need to first, let you in on a little secret from my childhood – son could ball. Not only could son ball, but he could dunk on an 8 ft. rim like UUUGGGHHH!!!
One day, my mom decided to buy me a pair of the Dee Brown Reebok Pumps. Maybe it was because she saw me bounce a ball off an oak tree branch, catch it in midair, and then do a 360 dunk that probably shook the earth to its core. Or maybe it was because I was a straight A student. But, it was probably because of the time she saw me bounce a ball off an oak tree branch, catch it in midair, and then do a 360 dunk with little remorse for the small child I’d just dunked over (my younger sister). Either way, that year turned out to be the best basketball year of my life. I was in the 6th grade, and I was an unstoppable force. At one point in the season, I found myself in an overtime situation where I was fouled during a magical finger-roll. After sinking my first free-throw (NBD), the ref passed me the ball to take my second. I politely passed the ball back to the ref, asking him to hold it so that I could pump up my Dee Brown’s. You might think that this is a joke for the sake of the story, but it’s not. I pumped those babies up and proceeded to sink the second free throw. To this day, every time I wear a Reebok Pump or even see one in the distance, I’m reminded of how fucking clutch I am. And that my friends…is why I love the Reebok Pump.

I don’t wear glasses, because I’m not a nerd (and I like girls). But if I were to cop a pair, I’d cop these.

Sheep In Wolve’s Clothing

For those of you who don’t know me, know this – any shirt with wolves on it, even if it’s sheep dressed as wolves, is a fucking no-brainer. I’d rock this shirt for seven days straight and not even think twice about it. It’s cool though—I don’t sweat much, and my natural scent should be bottled and sold at Neiman Marcus.

Truth be told, I’ve been slacking and as a result, I’ve missed out on a lot of the fresher shit to drop this year/end of last year (sad face). That said, I’ve been cruisin’ through the archives and happened to stumble across these beauties. As usual, Supra continues to release straight HEAT. More on this to come…
