Reebok Pump Omni Lite “MA-1″

The prodigal son returns…

…and what better way to return than with a Reebok Pump post?

Those that have followed this site from the jump know I have a bit of an obsession with The Pump. But, where does this obsession stem from? In order to answer that question, I’ll need to first, let you in on a little secret from my childhood – son could ball. Not only could son ball, but he could dunk on an 8 ft. rim like UUUGGGHHH!!!

One day, my mom decided to buy me a pair of the Dee Brown Reebok Pumps. Maybe it was because she saw me bounce a ball off an oak tree branch, catch it in midair, and then do a 360 dunk that probably shook the earth to its core. Or maybe it was because I was a straight A student. But, it was probably because of the time she saw me bounce a ball off an oak tree branch, catch it in midair, and then do a 360 dunk with little remorse for the small child I’d just dunked over (my younger sister). Either way, that year turned out to be the best basketball year of my life. I was in the 6th grade, and I was an unstoppable force. At one point in the season, I found myself in an overtime situation where I was fouled during a magical finger-roll. After sinking my first free-throw (NBD), the ref passed me the ball to take my second. I politely passed the ball back to the ref, asking him to hold it so that I could pump up my Dee Brown’s. You might think that this is a joke for the sake of the story, but it’s not. I pumped those babies up and proceeded to sink the second free throw. To this day, every time I wear a Reebok Pump or even see one in the distance, I’m reminded of how fucking clutch I am. And that my friends…is why I love the Reebok Pump.

Supra Skytop II Gradient Edition

Between work, the holidays, MW2 and watching reruns of Eureeka’s Castle, I haven’t had much time to post these days. Truth be told, I’ve been slacking and as a result, I’ve missed out on a lot of the fresher shit to drop this year/end of last year (sad face). That said, I’ve been cruisin’ through the archives and happened to stumble across these beauties. As usual, Supra continues to release straight HEAT. More on this to come…

More info on the Supra Skytop II here.

Cop the II’s here.

The Hundreds – Addy L/S Button-up

Flannels have been in for a while now, and I don’t see them going anywhere anytime soon. That said, when it comes to quality flannels in the dopest patterns/colorways, count on The Hundreds. Oh, and if you want to be tricked into buying a flannel that’s supposed to be high quality but actually just shrinks and shrivels up and turns into a 3/4 sleeve belly flannel even when you do everything in your power to make sure it doesn’t, shop Penfield.

Cop the above here (on sale).

Supreme Leather Trooper Hat

I’ve lived in Chicago for almost a year now. That said, I’m still trying to figure out why somebody settled a fucking city here (puzzled). The town is riddled with mid-western meat-heads, flip-flops and American Eagle Apparel (terrible). Truth be told, the only good thing about this city is my Xbox, and that shit’s portable. But I digress… Currently, it’s cold as eff out here. So don’t be mad when I get my Amelia Earhart on. B. Petersen knows what I’m talking about…

Cop the hat at Supreme.

If you’re like me, and you like to look f. fresh during those cold-ass winter months, I don’t see why you wouldn’t cop. If you’re into douche, there’s a camouflage one as well.

Available at Supreme.

Supra – The Dixon

supra-dixon-2009-holidayWith a canvas upper and gum outsole, this is the first low-top Supra I would actually rock. The beauty of this shoe lies in its simplicity, and at $60 a pop, I’m finding it hard not to cop both the blacks and the blues.

Available at Factory 413 right now!

If you’re not already signed up with Jack Threads, you should definitely check it out. The site offers one or two ridiculous deals daily via email (think of it as the streetwear Gilt Groupe). Items tend to be over 50% off retail, and the customer service is top-notch. Obviously some of their offerings are better than others, but don’t be surprised to see really good deals on brands like The Hundreds, Alife, 10.Deep, Gourmet, Clae, Supra, etc.

Anyway, sign up here.

Stay fresh.
